Day Trip - Monterey

Felicia took the week off from work so we took a day trip to Monterey, CA. Our first stop was Peppers Mexicali Cafe down in Pacific Grove area. (Artichoke enchiladas are great) It's a great restaurant and we alway make a point to eat here anytime we're in this area. I ordered a beef taco/ chicken enchilada combo. The taco was awesome! It was huge, filled with shredded beef and the shell was a deep fried flour tortilla...mmm. Felicia had a beef tamale/chicken enchilada combo. It must have been good because the plate was CLEAN. We could have went back home and been satisfied.

Our next stop was the Monterey Aquarium which is always a fun place to visit.

Next stop: Gilroy Outlets.

We hit Gap, Pearl Izumi, Sony, Gymbore, Motherhood Maternity, and Kids Supercenter. At Sony, I saw a 'refurbished' upconvert dvd player for $44.99. Cost for an HDMI cable was 49.99? We actually walked left the outlets completely unscathed. Well amost, I bought a Fanta soda and Felicia bought a pretzel.

25th week

Keeping busy

When we first learned we were expecting, our first thought was to keep fit and active. We decided that we'll do some walks around the Fremont area including Coyote Hills and Mission Peak. Mission Peak was a tough 2.8 mile climb to the summit so good thing we brought a bunch of snacks and water. That took us around 3 hours out and back including time looking for a restroom, but there wasn't any!

We started off really well and did this for 3 consecutive weeks. This all took place way back in January, however, we have not hiked since. We're just keeping busy; hanging out at Babies R Us.
